The choices

Healy Arts - £1500

Free Heritage Workshops and outdoor learning opportunities. A combination of FREE arts & crafts workshops – glassblowing; diamond-point engraving – and traditional hand painting/ printing outdoors, . All these workshops lead into a chance to work on the ‘Longest Mural in Glasgow’!

Love Thornwood - £1500

We are looking to support Thornwood Primary School by fixing up vandalised structures on their grounds and make the environment more visually appealing and entertaining for primary age children.

Sandy Rd Day Nursery - £1500

Ready Steady Cook!

This will inclusively involve all our children and their families having access to fresh fruit and veg and recipe ideas. Promoting Health and Wellbeing and family engagement.

Knit & Natter Group - £1500

Looking for funding to pay for hire of the room, provide a treat for the group – which is a long established group.

The Language Hub - £1495

We will run creative art sessions for young and old during the August 2024 summer school holidays while serving lunch and refreshments to everyone.

Annexe Social Cafe - £1300

The award of any money will enable this group to go on a trip during the summer break and keep in touch with each other, something which is really important for the members. It will also buy games, art materials for their weekly meetings.

Broken Voices - £1300

I will be taking a group of vulnerable people on an overnight stay to Oban & on to an island by ferry following morning for a picnic on the beach.

Art at the Annexe - £1200

Helping the group to continue attend weekly classes and encouraging new people to join without the worry of affordability.

Partick Phoenix Walking Group - £720

Our plan as a group is to involve & support our members in activities, walking, litter picking, conversations, study of wildlife plant & trees as a collective group for wellbeing.

Stewartville Strummers - £693

We would like to have an extra hour on Wednesday morning to extend our usual class that starts at 10am & to buy some materials for the group.

Sandy Rd Community Garden - £684

We seek funds to invite the local community along to visit our wonderful space at our annual summer Open Day.

Plot to Plot Group - £300

Expanding a growing programme in preparation for the 10 year anniversary open day at the Partick community growing project on June 1st. Partnership plant sale at Partick Victoria church in June.

Michael Hough - £500

The creation of a video poem depicting life on Gardner street, both in reality & a metaphor for life in general, for showing and sharing in the community.

Susan Dalziel - £500

Take time out getting creative, make your own coasters using diamond art teaching similar to paint by number its easy, relaxing and enjoyable.

Alan McMunnigall - £420

Creative writing is a fun way to improve confidence, wellbeing and connection, I will run free classes in Partick & Thornwood to help people write their own short stories.
