Benefits of volunteering
While volunteering focuses on the needs of others, it also enriches the person through new friendships, increased self- knowledge, insight into others, and relationships between each other and the local community. For some it can be a catalyst to move forward to lifelong positive change and it is a great way to gain skills and make a lasting impact with their work! It ultimately builds up self-reliance.
Volunteering provides a reason to get up in the morning, be more active, and engage with other people. It builds a personal sense of purpose and allows people to look forward to their lives. It reduces stress and provides physical and mental rewards. Volunteering brings people together it also allows you to

Volunteer Quote: “It’s allowed me to use my skills and experience. It has made me less introverted and more outgoing. I’ve learned to handle stress and trust my own decisions. I’ve nothing to lose and everything to gain”.
